Privacy Policy
Your Privacy
Your Recovery deserves discretion and confidentiality. As your coach, I observe all HIPPA privacy laws and client confidentiality norms. What's said in our sessions always stays between us. Exceptions that break confidentiality are if you disclose plans to harm yourself or others, abuse of minors or vulnerable persons, or any matter which may require mandatory reporting. Please note that Coaching is NOT therapy, and certain disclosures may mean I will recommend you seek therapy or psychiatric consultation in order to properly address your mental and emotional health.
What to include in the Privacy Policy
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.
